Three houses share a cul-de-sac. They are all friends and occasionally had a cookout out in the cul-de-sac where they’d grill, share dishes the wives prepared, set up a table to talk and talk. The children would ride their bikes around and around them while they talked and laughed.
However, these get togethers are on hiatus. In March of 2020, all three families isolated into their homes because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The following month, schools were closed, with all learning changed to online classes.
So even though they weren’t seeing each other at their friendly grill parties, they still talked on the phone or email, to offer friendship and support during the pandemic.
And even though they’re very careful, Tom did contract COVID, but thankfully was able to weather it at home without hospitalization.
This was Tom, who lived in the middle house. Unfortunately, his wife got sick too. Even though Tom endured his COVID infection without admission to the hospital, his wife Evie had to be admitted to ICU. She had a history of asthma and the COVID infection led to pneumonia, then a ventilator.
Tom was home sick while his wife fought for her life. Imagine.
On the west side of the cul-de-sac, next door to Tom and Evie, lived Jack and Jillian. Jack tested positive for COVID back in March after a business flight home from California. Jillian was extremely cautious with mask, gloves, hand washing, and washing clothes after helping Jack during his illness.
Thankfully, she did not get the virus from Jack. He recovered within about 2 1/2 weeks then was back at work. About that time, workers at his company switched to remote to work from home.
However, in October Tom was called upon to attend an emergency meeting in another city. He had to travel by commercial airline and make connecting flights in a crowded major terminal.
He tested positive for COVID when he returned home. Thankfully, this case was milder, then the first one but he was still too ill and weak to work even remotely for two more weeks. And this time, Evie tested positive less than a week after he did.
Finally, on the eastern side of Tom’s and Evie’s, live Barry and Tiki. Barry and Tiki are self-employed at home, and because Tiki’s grandmother lived with them, so they isolated … intensely. Groceries are delivered. From February until the present they’ve stayed home. They just are more comfortable working, and entertaining each other in the evenings and on weekends, than risking a COVID infection in their family members.
And so far they’re doing pretty well. But they do worry…since people come to the door. They have a sign on their door that a mask is required if they knock.
They wish they could invite just one person over and have dinner or play board games. Talk about cabin fever!
In August, the first confirmed case of reinfection with COVID occurred in Hong Kong in a 33 year old man.
Then, cases of reinfection began to emerge in the US. By October 16, the first death from a reinfected person occurred.
Understand these are not people who have relapsed. These are people who have recovered from COVID and were beginning to resume their normal lives, when they were infected again by a different strain of SARS-CoV-2- the virus that causes COVID-19.
The world is panting for the vaccine, and the news is full of stories of delays before they’re offered en masse. It will be months before we get reports of diminishing COVID cases.
But right now…well, the number of cases is still skyrocketing. Good grief!! Wednesday Dec 16 set a new single day record of 247,000 new cases in a day, and 3600 deaths, in a day!
So what about you? What about your family and co-workers? Do you plan to spend the holidays at home, or go to a friend’s or relative’s home?
If you’re getting tired of all this COVID hoopla, take a breath. Thumbing your nose at public service warnings really could cost you or someone you care about their health…and maybe even their life.
Yes, we know so many people who are infected with COVID weather it at home without too much difficulty. Some are even without symptoms in spite of their positive test. But you don’t get to choose from some sort of smorgasbord whether you’ll be infected with
a weaker strain or a vicious one.
Don’t play Russian roulette with the coronavirus.
Still, if there are reasons you really want to be with loved ones at your home to celebrate the holidays, then make the investment to clean the viruses like COVID and FLU out of the air and off all surfaces, so that everyone at your house is safe.
Remember, it’s not just the coronavirus that’s a threat, but all the damage it can do for years to come in your body, if you get a bad case. We’ll talk about that more soon.
And here’s another shocker:
A meta analysis published last month in the Journal of the American Medical Association involved 54 studies that included 77,700 people in 20 countries found that 37.8% of COVID patients passed their infection to their spouses.
It also turns out that the person who is infected by someone living with them, risk is higher in cases where there is only one person living in the house as opposed to 3 or more.
So, whether you’re infected by SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) in a public place, whether you’ve recovered from COVID illness then became reinfected by a different strain, or whether you’re infected by a family member, you can feel pretty helpless.
Unless you do something about it.
You do have a choice, and you can take action. What actions?
Install 21st century plasma cell technology that obliterates SARS-CoV-2 viruses from the enclosed of your home, your workplace, or your school.
Barry and Tiki could invite friends and family to visit if VB Enviro Care installed the plasma cell technology that was developed at NASA and MIT. Since it removes the virus from the air and surfaces completely, …as in 99.9999% virus free….(and that’s mold free and bacteria free too) Barry and Tiki can have guests without worrying because in that house they’re safe from COVID.
Evie would not have contracted the COVID infection because she was exposed only to her husband, and this technology would have removed all the virus from the air and surfaces…and she would have been safe.
Since this technology was developed to prepare for biological warfare when it became a problem. Of course, whether it was an accident or warfare, COVID has filled that role.
Aren’t we glad we were ready? Now is NOT the time to start developing technology like this. Why? Because we NEED it and we need it NOW.
As of Wednesday, the cases of COVID in the US have increased by 51%, the highest of any country in the world.
Stop this spread. With Novaerus or Airocide to remove all the viruses from the air…especially SARS-CoV-2. And with SteraMist to remove them from all surfaces. Make your indoor space virus free. Clean. Safe.
